He is a commerce graduate [B. Com (H)] from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA). He is an associate member of the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ACS). He is an associate member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (AICWA). He has qualified Information System Audit course of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ISA (ICAI)]. He is also a member of All India Management Association (MIMA). He has passed certification course NCFM of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). He has also done certification course CAAT of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

He is president, convenor and member of various associations, circles, committees, etc. of ICAI, ICSI and other prestigious bodies and associations. Financial Reporting Review Board of ICAI has appointed him as Technical Reviewer to review the financial statements of various listed Companies. He is a regular contributor of articles on taxation, company law, service tax and audit in journals like ‘Chartered Accountants Practice Journal’ and ‘Service Tax Journal’ published by Mashbra and ‘Current Taxcom News’ published by CTR. He has delivered lectures on various topics of taxation, audit, company law, and service tax at various forums. He has authored few books on “Fringe Benefit Tax & Banking Cash Transaction Tax”. He has also authored a book on “Documentation for Audits”. He has also jointly authored books on “VAT”, and “Accounting Standards and CARO”.
